  • DOAJ is a database of the University of Lund (Sweden) which provides access to quality controlled scientific Open Access Journals covering several subject areas. Open access journals use a funding model that does not charge the readers. Approximately 1,670 titles are available in full text. Currently 414 journals are searchable at article level. As of today 76,402 articles are included in the DOAJ service.

  • The Philippine Social Science Journal (PSSJ) of the Recoletos de Bacolod Graduate School is now an internationally indexed journal by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and joins the caliber journals in the world. It will increase its visibility, impact, distribution, and usage. The DOAJ was launched in 2003 with 300 open access journals. Today, this independent database contains over 15 000 peer-reviewed open access journals covering all areas of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts, and humanities. Open access journals from all countries and in all languages are welcome to apply for inclusion. DAJ is financially supported by many libraries, publishers, and other like-minded organizations. Supporting DOAJ demonstrates a firm commitment to open access and the infrastructure that supports it.
  • Tambara is a bi-annual peer-reviewed journal of the Ateneo de Davao University released every June and December. It aims to provide a forum for vibrant and informed public discourse on various pertinent issues-theoretical and practical-affecting Mindanao and beyond among established as well as aspiring scholars. It publishes original articles, editorials, and review essays in the areas of humanities, social sciences, philosophy, and theology. Replies to articles are also welcome. This journal has borrowed the Bagobo word tambara to emphasize the commitment of the Ateneo Community and the larger Mindanao region as a Filipino, Catholic and Jesuit University.
